I’m an old man and fell asleep in the third quarter last night while the Trailblazers had a relatively comfortable lead on the Warriors and then I wake up this morning to find out that Golden State sans Steph Curry ended up wining by 11 points.
Steve Kerr is an amazing coach and I have gone through some of his sets before on the site, but I personally think that Terry Stotts, the Blazers coach, is a very good tactician in his own right.
After watching the game back this morning I pulled out a few of my favorite sets and play designs from each team. I think a few (particularly the SLOBs) are ideas that I would like to add to my playbook when I am a head coach.
